The main application directions are large-scale, high-precision positioning and measurement, and scene splicing. The difficulty of multi-camera vision systems lies in the unification of multi-camera coordinate systems. Judo Technology believes that it can be divided into two categories: one is that there is no overlap between camera visions, and the other is that there is an overlap between camera visions. The case where there is no overlap between cameras is mainly used for positioning and measurement of high-precision multi-cameras with high accuracy, and overlapping of cameras is mainly used for scene splicing.
(1) There must be overlaps between adjacent images
(2) The overlapping area between images must have more obvious features, so that a more accurate automatic matching process can be guaranteed. If the features in some overlapping areas are not obvious then it can be overcome by defining suitable image pairs. If the characteristics of the entire object are not particularly obvious, the overlapping area should be larger.
(3) The scale of the overlapping images must be approximately equal. Under normal circumstances, the difference in scale cannot exceed 5-10%
(4) The brightness of these images should be similar, at least in the overlapping area, with similar brightness. Otherwise, if the brightness difference is very obvious, the seams between the images are very obvious in the resulting image.
