LED tube technology is not mature and it is difficult to compete with fluorescent lamps

The LED light bar designed for office lighting is placed in a lamp tube similar to T8/T9 and T5. The long LED module is added, and the power supply is divided into external and internal. Sapporo City, Hokkaido, Japan has reported that in the spring of 2010, the government building in the city replaced the original 9000 fluorescent tubes with LED strips. However, after installation, the office staff had eye fatigue and saw the afterimage. A related report appeared.

According to the Japanese survey results, three manufacturers of the lamp replacement project were delivered, two were overseas manufacturers, one was a Japanese manufacturer, and a foreign manufacturer's 2,500 LED tubes were not used to make the light source uniform. The line is so unsatisfactory that the user is not satisfied. Such a long-shaped LED tube is a product other than the object of the Japanese Electrical Appliances Safety Law, and there is no corresponding JIS standard.

The Japanese manufacturer already has Panasonic said that because the LED tube is difficult to compare with the omnidirectional fluorescent tube, the relevant product standards are not complete, so it is not necessary to make such an LED tube. In addition, Sharp also expressed similar views.

At this stage, Japan's LED lighting promotion agreement, there is no way to grasp the number of LED product agents that actually obtain goods from manufacturers in South Korea, China, Taiwan and other places.

The comparison between the US DOE and the Japan Electric Ball Industry Association for LED tubes and fluorescent tubes has shown that the LED tubes are not enough to completely replace the fluorescent tubes. The power consumption of the LED tube is less than half of the fluorescent tube, but the brightness is only less than half, which has caused some office users to express dissatisfaction.

Previously, we also mentioned that the LED tube made of LED strips can't compete with the T5 fluorescent tube with good luminous efficiency. There are still some opportunities to compete with the T8/T9 tube, but the manufacturer must spend a lot of time. .

On the other hand, the Japan Electric Ball Industry Association has compiled a guide on the correct use of LED lighting. The Japan Lighting Industry Association has also compiled a brochure for the use of attention, hoping to reduce the problems in the practical application of LED lighting.
