At the beginning of 2010, Midea Lighting opened more than 2,000 distribution outlets of core distributors in more than 40 provinces and municipalities across the country, and launched more than 1,400 May Day promotions. At the end of June, Midea Lighting spent RMB 500 million to acquire Guiya Lighting to create a beautiful green light source base in Jiangxi. In the second half of 2010, the focus will be shifted to deep-plowing pipelines and optimizing pipeline construction, further improving product layout, building a distribution customer system, and accelerating market development progress.

Midea's lighting plan will reach 5 billion yuan in sales within five years, striving for the top three in the industry and becoming the provider of overall lighting solutions.
