Nichia chemistry won the championship! Top 10 LED package manufacturers in China in 2015
The global LED industry is highly competitive, and mainland China has become the main market for global LED packaging manufacturers.
TrendForce LED industry research brand LEDinside (China LED Online) latest "2016 China LED chip and packaging industry market report" shows that in the top ten manufacturers of LED packaging revenue in the Chinese mainland market in 2015, the Nichia Chemical Championship champion throne Lumileds soared to the runner-up, and Mulinsen followed. The top ten factory revenues were US$3.3 billion, down 15% year-on-year, accounting for 38% of the overall mainland China LED packaging, down 8% year-on-year, indicating that the market is still relatively dispersed.
LEDinside analyst Yu Bin said that among the top 10 LED packaging revenues in the Chinese mainland market in 2015, international manufacturers occupied 5 seats, and mainland China manufacturers jumped to 3, and the rise was obvious. Mainland China's manufacturers have performed well, mainly through the product price-performance advantage, coupled with the narrowing of the technology gap, and gradually grabbed the market share of international manufacturers. It is expected that more mainland Chinese manufacturers will enter the top ten in the future. Although the revenue of Nichia Chemical China was affected by the exchange rate and business transformation, it showed a significant decline, and the market share was significantly reduced. However, the ranking still ranks first. Lumileds, with its rapid growth in the lighting and automotive markets, helped its revenues perform well and was runner-up. Mainland China's Mulinsen revenue declined slightly, ranking third. Taiwanese manufacturer Yiguang has successfully developed the automotive, small-pitch display and flash market in the Chinese mainland market, ranking fourth. OSRAM Opto Semiconductors successfully developed the automotive and infrared LED market in the Chinese mainland market, ranking fifth. Guoxing Optoelectronics has achieved a successful market for small-pitch display applications, and its ranking has improved. Hongli Optoelectronics was able to replace AMD's first entry into the top ten due to the merger of Smect's revenue.
