Panasonic pushes LED TV PDP giant into the LCD field

According to foreign media reports, recently, Panasonic, which has been working on the plasma TV field, finally released its first LED-backlit LCD TV at the end of last month.

This new LED-backlit LCD TV is part of the VIERA series and is available in 42-inch TH-L42D25A, 37-inch TH-L37D25A and 32-inch TH-L32D25A models.

This series of TVs is equipped with IPS LCD panels for wide viewing angles. Two sets of white LED light-emitting diodes are used on the top and bottom borders of the TV, and the light is evenly distributed by means of plastic light guides.

These TVs support 1080P HD resolution, dynamic contrast ratio of 2 million:1, 3xHDMI interface, USB 2.0 interface to connect with peripherals such as Skype camera, support DLNA service, and connect with YouTube and other websites through Viera Cast system.

In terms of price, the current price of 42-inch TH-L42D25A, 37-inch TH-L37D25A and 32-inch TH-L32D25A are priced at $2,299, $1,799 and $1,599, respectively.
