The "CIPS183BS210" integrates a newly developed linear image sensor with a data transfer rate of 16MHz, twice the size of its predecessor, the CIPS183BS200. Its banknote recognition rate in high resolution mode (200 dpi) is the same as the current banknote recognition rate in high speed mode (100 dpi). This improvement enables the high-accuracy and high-speed banknote identification needs that are required for the Chinese market.
The new module is 14mm wide, while the current generation has a width of 18mm, which also improves the light intensity distribution.
