Prema PR4101 high power LED driver solution

Prema's PR4101 is a high-power LED step-down driver that can drive one or more high-power LEDs in a collusive manner. It can operate up to 40V with an external N-channel MOSFET switch and can output up to 1A. It can be used for halogen lamps. Lighting, Alarm Lighting, Automotive Lighting, Signaling and LCD Backlight. This article describes the main features of the PR4101, block diagrams, typical application circuits, and various application circuits for the PR4101 with 12/24V power, 12VDC and 12VAC power supplies.

High Power LED Buck Driver PR4101
The PR4101 is a LED buck driver for driving one or several high power LEDs in series.
The supply voltage can be up to 40V, with an output current of more than 1A using anexternal N-channel MOSFET switching transistor. The PR4101A with additional PWM andpower down input is delivered SOP14 packaged, while the PR4101B is offered SO8packaged.

Main features of PR4101:
Adjustable output current of 1A and more
Supply voltage up to 40V bulb replacement by LEDs
Dimming with phase-cut dimmer
Brightness control with PWM (PR4101A only)
Output current temperature compensation
Delayed start possible (PR4101A only)
