The working principle of the rope displacement sensor The function of the rope type displacement sensor is to convert the mechanical motion into an electrical signal that can be measured, recorded or transmitted. The cable displacement sensor is wound by a stretchable stainless steel wire on a threaded hub that is connected to a precision rotary sensor. The sensor can be an incremental encoder, an absolute (independent) encoder, mixed or Conductive plastic rotary potentiometer, synchronizer or resolver.
In operation, the drawstring displacement sensor is mounted in a fixed position and the drawstring is attached to the moving object. The linear motion of the drawstring is aligned with the axis of motion of the moving object. When the movement occurs, the drawstring stretches and contracts. An internal spring ensures that the tension of the drawstring does not change. The threaded hub drives the precision rotary sensor to rotate, outputting an electrical signal proportional to the distance the cable moves. Measuring the output signal can give the displacement, direction or velocity of the moving object.

The analog output type can be selected from precision potentiometer, Hall encoder, absolute encoder, etc. The output signal can be 4-20 mA, 0-5 volts, 0-10 volts, serial SSI and resistance signal, etc. It can reach 12500 mm, and the maximum operating environment can reach IP65 protection level, and it can be used in a wide temperature range of -45 °C to +105 °C.

4. If it is not installed on the workbench or in front of the fixed seat, please do not pull the steel cable by hand or other products and let it bounce back in time. This will cause the cable to break, damage the body structure and personal safety.
5. The instantaneous acceleration of the reciprocating motion of the MPS-S and MPS-M series products must not exceed 1 m/s; the instantaneous acceleration of the reciprocating motion of the MPS-L and MPS-LP series products must not exceed 0.5 m/s; Will cause the cable to break, the company will not be responsible for this outside the scope.
