Surya invests 150 million rupees to build a research and development test center to enter LED manufacturing
Indian lighting company Surya Roshni plans to enter LED manufacturing and announced that it will invest Rs 150 crore to establish India's first R&D and testing center in Kashipur, Uttarakhand.
It is understood that Surya is the second largest lighting manufacturer in India. Surya said that the improvement of lighting measurement accuracy will become a catalyst for the rapid development of the LED market. It hopes that the turnover of the LED lighting segment will reach the same scale as the company's incandescent lamps.
Surya is equipped with the most advanced photometric laboratory. Surya's existing production facilities are located in Kashipur and Malanpur, Madhya Pradesh, India, producing incandescent lamps, FTL, CFL and more.
