Telecom iPhone4S will be granted access license or listed after February

Beijing time on January 9 news, the Ministry of Industry website information shows that the telecommunications CDMA version iPhone4S has obtained the wireless business administrative license, in accordance with common practice, access to the official network license and the market is not far away.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's radio site information display, the telecommunications version of the iPhone4S phone model number is A1387 and supports GSM/WCDMA/CDMA2000/WLAN (WAPI). The valid period of the certificate is 5 years. The difference with the Unicom version of the iPhone 4S is that the Telecom iPhone 4S retains the CDMA2000 module.

According to the release process of China Unicom's iPhone4S, it will take two to three months in the middle to obtain an administrative license for wireless services, formally enter the network, and finally formally go on sale. Therefore, the approximate time to market for the telecommunications iPhone4S should be around March 2012.

The China Telecom official has not commented on the news of the CDMA iPhone4S.
