Shunde signed the "Rainbow OLED Phase II" production value of 70 billion

Yesterday afternoon, the Shunde District Government signed a large order with the central enterprise Rainbow Group, with a total investment of 9.42 billion yuan. The 4.5-generation AMOLED production line project will start in Shunde Wusha Industrial Park in October this year. The project is the second phase of the third phase of the Rainbow Group's Southern Industrial Base, which will drive the output value of the upstream and downstream related industries to more than 70 billion yuan.

Three-stage advancement of the Rainbow OLED Project

At the signing ceremony, Xing Daoqin, general manager of Rainbow Group, said that it will support OLED (organic light-emitting diode) and liquid crystal glass substrate, with a total investment of 39 billion yuan, and promote the development of rainbow OLED project in three phases.

The second phase has attracted 11 supporting companies

Xing Daoqin revealed that due to the huge demand for screens in Guangdong's mobile phone manufacturing industry, Rainbow Group decided to launch the first 4.5-generation AMOLED production line in October this year. The production line will invest 4.96 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it will form a monthly processing 730. × 920mm glass substrate capacity of 30,000 pieces, the product is OLED display. It is reported that this will be the first AMOLED production line in China. When the two production lines are completed at the same time, it can drive the output value of the upstream and downstream industries to more than 70 billion yuan.

The upcoming 4.5-generation AMOLED project of Rainbow will attract 11 supporting enterprises to settle in Shunde Wusha Industrial Park.
