Taiwan factory Zhichao Technology officially cut into the LED heat dissipation aluminum substrate market

Taiwan's photovoltaic panel leader Zhichao Technology (8213) officially cut into the LED heat-dissipating aluminum substrate market in 2010, and it is expected that shipments will increase rapidly in the second half of the year.

At present, the LED backlight strips of handheld devices are mainly soft-board, and the FR-4 substrate and the aluminum substrate are mostly used for medium and large-sized products. The FR-4 substrate is the highest grade among the copper foil substrates, but the heat dissipation efficiency of the aluminum substrate Preferably, the subsequent stamping process and the required molding machine equipment are different from conventional PCB processes.

In response to customer demand, Zhichao has begun to increase the monthly capacity of LED heat-dissipating aluminum substrates from 100,000 to 200,000 by changing the way of stamping.

Zhichao pointed out that the LED heat-dissipating aluminum substrate products at this stage are mainly based on Taiwan panel manufacturers' orders, and the current proportion of total revenue is not high.

The industry believes that Zhichao is good at large-scale production, the price is competitive, and the products of various specifications are successively certified by panel manufacturers. In the future, the market share of LED heat-dissipating aluminum substrates is expected to increase gradually.

In addition, Zhichao has also started to produce LED light bar. In the first half of 2010, the proportion of revenue was about 6~8%, and it was mainly based on FR-4 substrate.
