Analysis of the status quo and future development trend of domestic airport lighting

According to the data released by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, as of the end of 2013, there were 193 transport airports in China, an increase of 10 from 2012. Among them, 20 in the Northeast, accounting for 10.4%, 48 in the eastern region, accounting for 24.9%, 98 in the western region, accounting for 50.8%, and 27 in the central region, accounting for 14.0%.

Efficient and convenient transportation has shortened the geographical distance, strengthened the cultural and economic communication between different regions, and quietly changed people's travel experience and lifestyle.

In recent years, the airport has been built vigorously in China. Some airports have become the landmarks of the city even because of their important pivotal functions or prominent architectural forms. The more and more airports that are held in the clouds are more and more dazzling. However, under the glazed coat, there are often hidden problems, such as energy saving and environmental protection.

The member of the expert group of China Aviation Industry Planning and Design Institute and the executive director of the China Lighting Society, Ren Yuanhui, explained the "green lighting of the airport" and talked about the future development direction of the domestic airport lighting.

What are the characteristics of the airport design compared to other transportation hubs such as train stations and bus stations? Does the Architectural Lighting Design Standard have special requirements for airport lighting?

Ren Yuanhui:

The airport is divided into two parts: the terminal building and the airport runway. The lights for the airport runway are very special, like the signal lights for aircraft take-off and landing, the civil aviation department has special requirements, not within the scope of lighting design standards. The Architectural Lighting Design Standards address the requirements for lighting in terminal buildings.

The terminal building is also the terminal building. It is not essentially different from other traffic buildings in lighting. However, the nature of the airport itself determines that its grade will be higher than that of the railway station and bus station.

The illumination requirements of the terminal are not high, and are much lower than the requirements of the office. Generally, 150lx is used, and the maximum is 260lx. However, the entire space of the terminal needs to be brighter, giving people a feeling of being cool when they enter, so the "space brightness" is required to be high.

Many terminals will use the floodlights to hit the point and then reflect it. The energy efficiency of this light is not very high, but the space is brighter and the glare is less. The effect is better, and the passenger experience is also good. it is good.

Moreover, some VIP service halls at the airport are slightly more luxurious, but excessive luxury is not necessary, so there are also regulations to cancel some special VIP rooms.

Has the acceptance criteria for airport lighting been adjusted over the years?

Ren Yuanhui:

Basically, there is no major adjustment. The construction acceptance is still carried out according to the "Architectural Lighting Design Standards". For example, the illumination, glare, and color of the lighting must meet the requirements of the lighting design standard.

The latest "Architectural Lighting Design Standard GB50034-2013" was implemented on June 1, 2014.

What do you think are the main problems in the lighting design of domestic airports ? What should I do?

Ren Yuanhui:

First of all, the use of light sources is not ideal. Lighting design needs to follow several principles, including safety, practicality (to meet the needs of users), energy saving, economy, and aesthetics. The domestic airport has done a lot of aesthetics. Of course, it is necessary to pay attention to the decorative effect of lighting as a public building.

Second, attention to energy conservation is still not enough. Like Beijing Capital Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Shanghai Pudong Airport, etc., there is a common problem, that is, the use of downlights is more. The light source used for downlights is mostly electronic energy-saving lamps, or compact fluorescent lamps.

The energy saving of this kind of energy-saving lamps is mainly relative to incandescent lamps. The energy efficiency of incandescent lamps is too low. The state has introduced policies to eliminate incandescent lamps step by step. This compact fluorescent lamp is compared with the three-base straight tube fluorescent lamps used in our office. Efficiency is still not high enough.

In addition, the efficiency of the downlights is not very good, so the overall energy efficiency is actually not high. I think the downlights can be changed to straight fluorescent lamps.

We can watch the development. The boarding bridge at the airport uses 1.2m long straight fluorescent lamps, but when it arrives at the terminal, it becomes a downlight.

Another problem is that the terminal is generally too high, I don't think it needs to be that high. Some airports have entrance halls of up to 50 meters, which is not necessary. This is not conducive to energy conservation. The space is too high and too large. The number of lamps and energy efficiency requirements will be higher, and the consumption of air-conditioning equipment is also very large. It is in the south.

You are involved in compiling too many works on "green lighting". How do you think airport lighting should be green?

Ren Yuanhui:

The most critical I think is to use efficient light sources and lamps. At present, the energy-saving lamps commonly used in airports are not efficient. More efficient ones can use fluorescent lamps such as three-base straight tubes, as well as LED lamps. However, LED lamps are only efficient and must meet the required quality standards.

At the domestic or foreign airport that you have been to or you know, which airport do you think is better in energy conservation and environmental protection? What can be learned from?

Ren Yuanhui:

The general airport area is very large, like the Beijing Capital Airport has 600,000 square meters, the power consumption is very large, so in addition to using energy-saving lamps as much as possible, but also make full use of natural light.

Now China's Beijing Capital Airport, Guangzhou New Baiyun Airport, Kunming's Changshui Airport, etc., all have natural lighting windows on the top, so there is basically no need for artificial lighting during the day, which I think is doing well.

In addition, the lighting control at the airport is now better. For example, the T3 terminal of Beijing Capital Airport can automatically detect the overall illumination of the terminal through an intelligent control system. If the natural light is sufficient, the light will be automatically extinguished. If the light is insufficient, the light will be turned on slowly.

The use of intelligent means to control lighting in such an important public place can not only meet the practical requirements, but also effectively save electricity, which is worth promoting.

Including LED lamps that will be used in large quantities in the future, its dimming performance is good, not only can be automatically switched, but also can be properly dimmed, which is more advantageous than other light sources. For example, if there is not enough light in the cloudy sky, it will automatically adjust the brightness to make the light environment more suitable.

Domestic airport lighting has been advanced in many aspects, even better than foreign airports. However, it is still necessary to learn from some measures of energy saving and environmental protection in some foreign airports. How to achieve more energy saving? We can make some efforts in energy conservation and the use of natural light.

What do you think about the future direction of airport lighting?

Ren Yuanhui:

I think there are three main points: First, it is energy-saving and efficient; second, it is intelligent; third is aesthetic. For example, the use of light source lamps, and now vigorously promote LED lamps.

Although LED lights have only been developed for more than a decade, LED lights have shown many advantages, such as high energy efficiency, long life, and convenient dimming. Japanese experts won the Nobel Prize this year for inventing the blue LED light, which is a great affirmation of LED lights.

However, LED lights also have some short boards, such as poor color quality and large glare.

In recent years, the promotion of LED lights has become more and more important, especially in Guangdong. Our new lighting design standards have also made a number of regulations on LED lights. Whether it is applied at airports or other buildings, it is necessary to achieve "architectural lighting." The requirements of the Design Standards can both save energy and ensure the quality of lighting.

This Vacuum Cleaner is not only a Cordless Sticker Vacuum Cleaner, but also a Rechargeable Vacuum Cleaner. It is lightweight and useful. It is a really cyclone style and bagless one. Its filter is washable and easy cleaning. You can also choose the HEPA filter,I think it will be better. Although it is a mini and lightweight vacuum cleaner, its suction power is very high. Now let's see the picture blow.
